Professional Activities

Kevin has done a variety of legal work over the years, including the general practise of law, many moons ago, in Stettler, a small rural Alberta town. That practice included civil litigation, family law, wills and estates, corporate, real estate and surface rights, among others.

However, Kevin has always particularly been interested in doing criminal defence work, and his practice has evolved to the point where 90% or more of his work is in criminal defence, with the remainder being real estate and wills and estates work. He’s lucky enough to have two long-time assistants who are skilled in the latter two practice areas. A significant portion of Kevin’s criminal defence work consists of defending the common, but highly complex charges related to alcohol consumption and motor vehicle use.
